  • 2 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 1/4 tsp Crushed red pepper
  • 2 Scallions, thinly sliced, including tops

Teriyaki Dipping Sauce (combine all and blend)

  • 1 tbsp Parsley
  • 1 tbsp Teriyaki sauce

Tempura Dipping Sauce (Stir together soy sauce, water, rice, vinegar, and sugar until sugar is dissolved. Just before serving, stir in scallion. Serve immediately.)

  • 1 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 1/4 cup plus 2 Tbsp. Seasoned rice vinegar
  • 4 tsp Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Scallions, thinly sliced

Directions

Preheat 2 inches of oil to 375 degrees on a deep-fry thermometer. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together the water, soy sauce and egg. Add flour and mix lightly until batter just blended. (It’s okay if there are some lumps). Working in small batches, dip Mann’s Broccolini® in batter and deep-fry about 30 seconds until lightly browned. Drain on paper towels. Keep warm in the oven while you fry the remaining Broccolini. Serve warm, with lemon wedges on the side.
