MANN PACKING SUPPORTS WINTER SALES WITH MULTIPLE PROMOTIONS
SALINAS, Calif. - Jan. 11, 2010 - Mann Packing is supporting its sales program this winter with multiple promotions in January and February.
The company kicked off the year with a Real California Cheese promotion that features an instant redeemable offer of $0.55 off any package of Real California Cheese with the purchase of Mann's fresh-cut vegetable products. The coupons will be applied the entire month of January, and the beginning of February.
In February, the company is working with Litehouse FoodsÆ to offer shoppers $1 off any Litehouse salad dressing with the purchase of Mann's Broccolini®. The IRC includes a recipe for Szechwan Broccolini® & Beef, to leverage Chinese New Year sales. This is one of three cross promotions with Litehouse Foods® scheduled for 2010.
Also in February, 100,000 instant redeemable coupons for $0.55 off Mann's Broccoli Wokly® will be applied to select Mountain King Potato products.

In support of Mann's Simply Singles® line, 60,000 recipe cards with a discount offer will be placed in each clamshell shipped nationwide. Simply Singles® are available in three varieties: green leaf, red leaf and Romaine heart singles. Each clamshell is hand-packed with washed and ready to eat leaf singles, great for sandwiches, salads and low-carb wraps.
Mann will be focusing on seasonal promotions throughout the year, said Lorri Koster, vice president of marketing. "Consumers are looking for value; we want to keep them shopping in the produce department and out of the canned and frozen food aisles," Koster saidÝ "Many Americans are struggling financially, so adding value where we can, helps their pocketbooks and their health."
