Mann Packing Co. Inc., Salinas, Calif. and Riviana Foods Inc., Houston, are collaborating on a coupon promotion involving Mann's fresh-cut vegetables and Minute Rice.

The coupon, which will be applied to more than 1.8 million Mann's packages, is good for $1 off any two Minute Rice products with the purchase of one package of Mann's products.

Riviana Foods is one of the largest processors and marketers of branded and private-label rice products in the U.S., with such brands as Minute, Mahatma, Carolina, Success and Gourmet House. Family-owned Mann Packing is one of the largest suppliers of fresh broccoli and has a number of branded products, including its Ready, Set, Steam line, Snacks on the Go and Broccoli Wokly.

The promotion will also give shoppers an Asian recipe using Mann's snow peas and Minute Rice.
