Ingredients

  • Mann’s Family Favorites® Cauliflower Florets
  • 2 cups of whole milk
  • 3 Tbsp of butter
  • 1 Tbsp of flour
  • 8 ounces of sharp cheddar, grated
  • 8 ounces of gruyere, grated (separated into two 4oz.)
  • Pinch of cayenne powder
  • Salt + Pepper to taste

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400F
  2. Place Mann’s Family Favorites® Cauliflower Florets onto a baking pan, add salt, drizzle with olive oil, and roast for 30 minutes until golden.
  3. While the cauliflower roasts, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, whisking occasionally
  4. Add the flour and whisk together until smooth
  5. Whisk in the milk, raise heat to medium-high, and bring to a simmer
  6. Once the milk is hot and simmering, reduce the heat and add in the 8oz. grated cheddar and 4oz. of gruyere. Whisk until the cheese is melted and incorporated.
  7. Add salt + pepper and pinch of cayenne
  8. Add the roasted cauliflower and mix to incorporate with the cheese sauce
  9. Transfer the cheesy cauliflower to an oven-safe dish and top with remaining 4oz. of gruyere
  10. Broil until golden
